Searching for Harmony 1011 front tire and rim

I have been having no success in locating a replacement wheel/rim and flat free tire for my Honda Harmony 1011. According to Honda they no longer manufacture the rim. The rim is for a 11x4-5 tire and has a 3/4" bore and a hub length of 2 3/4". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Searching for Harmony 1011 front tire and rim

Hello Barry,

Although I do not have a 1011 I do own an older Honda tractor and would like to offer some suggestions based on my own experiences in locating parts to keep these machines going. New or New Old Stock for these (or any older machine for that matter) are getting harder to find so you may have to think outside of the box as they say.

Are your rims in pretty decent shape? If so will some sanding or sandblasting and repaint make them usuable again? If that is the case then eRaplacement parts sells the tire itself for $37.21 here: https://www.ereplacementparts.com/ti...ip25ee5b5al307.

Then there is also eBay. It looks like an entire 1011 just sold on 4/9/19 for $76.00. I know it is a bit extreme but if you have some room to keep a parts machine handy it will be a like a grocery store for you in the future. If not you can take what you need and sell the rest of the unit (many times for a profit).

Then there is the always popular Craigslist which currently has a bunch of these mowers for sale. You don't mention where you are from but here are a few that I was able to locate in about the $120.00 to $130.00 price range. My guess is you would probably spend close to that price for wheel and tire combo alone.

Again you could buy a machine and harvest what you need and move the rest along.

I have also found that Facebook market place is another good source for machines and parts.

My apologies if you already were aware of any or all of these options and we're just looking for a known source for that exact rim and tire combination or replacement set up.

Regards,

Manny

I saw this one, but the hub length is too long. Thanks for your help.

I have a hand cart that had non-pneumatic tires and they were small. I order pneumatic tires that were taller and replace the axles to raise the cart to fit. You, too, could simply replace the axles. Purchase two bolts either 5/8 or 3/4" (Your choice) with proper length unthreaded and weld them to the frame. Using washers as spacers as needed and secure with a nut. You can leave a small section of thread exposed after the nut and, with a chisel and hammer, booger up the threads, thus securing the nut. My dolly transports heavy loads over rough terrain now!
