Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

Last month there was a special announcement to "Look for the Newsletter". I never got one - likely my fault due to not having something set properly. But, I asked for assistance in finding and correcting whatever I had set wrong. I got some enthusiastic comments, but none of them panned out. No one, who responded, seems to know what trigger needs to be set to receive a newsletter. I do get subscription notices via email, and I do get PM notifications via email. Be that as it may, I wonder how many of you folks are getting a Newsletter via email. So take a few seconds and select from the poll please

[This is not a complaint, nor a trouble report. I'd really like to find and fix my problem, and it might help to learn if I am the only one with it]

I think the newsletter option is fitted where you give admin permission to email you.
is that checked off?

Is that in the User CP? I can't find it.

Don't feel bad, I been here a long time & never received one. Didn't even know there was one.

OOPs. Would have helped if I clicked on link provided by Support. Made the change. See if anything happens.

Mine has been checked for as long as I can remember. See screen capture of that page attachment. At least I see I am not alone.

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

Not using an AOL email account, I use a gmail account and get several types of email from MTF including notifications of PM's and notifications about Subscribed threads.

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

I have not seen a newsletter, but I do use AOL
This site is set up and operates very well...I think the problem is I don't "subscribe" to any of the subscriptions, because there is no explanation of what one would be subscribing to

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

I decided this morning that I should check my SPAM folder to make sure there were no MTF newsletters in it and there was not. Still haven't gotten one.

My "honey-do list" is so long it has chapters.

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

Are you a member of a number of other forums? They are working out what this could be and in some cases our newsletter software will limit the number of newsletters it will send if it sees you belong to a number of forums that send them out.

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

I am a member of:
TacomaWorld https://www.tacomaworld.com/ I'm not sure of the technology used
ArboristSite https://www.arboristsite.com/community/ Uses XenForo technology
CanAm ATV https://www.can-amforum.com/forums/ Which I believe is vertical scope

But I get Newsletters from none of them. Not sure any of them have newsletters

Re: Who is getting the MTF Newsletter

I've been getting them pretty regular. I'm not sure if they come out every month, but it seems like there were times when it would be 2-3 months between newsletters. B ut then my memory ain't what it used to be..... What was the question again?

If it's FREE, it's for ME!

ALWAYS remember to remove the spark plug wire from the plug before sticking your hand in the machine!!!! The fingers you save could be your own.
