Sears Model # C15161172-1 snowblower

I thought I'd start a thread regarding Sears model #C151611-72-1, a two stage snowblower.
Currently, I've had this snowblower for the past 11 years, mounted onto an LT1000. Over that time, numerous rocks, sticks, balls, and god knows what else has gone through this thing. The net result has been a bit of wear and tear on the auger, with the latest ice chunks breaking a piece off the auger itself this weekend. My problem has been in trying to purchase parts for this model # through Sears, which is/has been lacking somewhat. After a lot of searching, I'm pretty sure that the Bercomac model #700255 is the same, excluding the Sears re-branding.
Parts for the Bercomac are readily obtained, at a reasonable rate if you shop around. I've now ordered my auger replacement through Bercomac, part #102000 and over the next week, I'll add to this post on how well the parts fit. I decided to order a few other parts while I was at it, and if all goes well, I'll post back that all parts from the Bercomac are direct replacements to the Sears model I have. I'm about 99% sure as the manuals look identical, with identical part numbers. So, here's fingers crossed, and looking forward to updating this thread, an hopefully someone with a similar model as mine will find this post useful.

Being you are in Canada it kinda makes things a little complicated since the model number on the equipment is usually different.

However, the information provided should make an interesting discussion.

Re: Sears Model # C15161172-1 snowblower

Well, finally I replaced the following parts ordered from Bercomac.
102000 AUGER 40"
102047 CUTTING EDGE 40"
102783 OILITE BUSHING
102784 OILITE BUSHING
102757 BALL BEARING, 2 required
102680 FLANGETTE 2 required
102758 BALL BEARING 2 required
102744 SHEAR BOLT W/N.I.LOCKNUT
102747 NYLON SHEAR PIN W/CLIPS

All parts fit perfectly and what I conclude from this is, the Sears model #C151611-72-1 two stage snowblower and the Bercomac model #700255 are identical in nature. In other words, if you require parts from this Sears model, don't be shy, order parts from the Bercomac Model #700255 with confidence.
