I promised this thread a long time ago, just never got around to it. The basis for these upgrades is just to beef up the plow frame and stiffen it so the plow works better and you don't bend the snot out of the plow blade. The first of the upgrades is to take a piece of 1" black pipe and cut it to fit between the outer right mounting plate, and the center lift piece. I added a washer to it to tighten it up a little more after I got it mounted on the center rod.
After that task was done, I cut a piece of 3/4" pipe to fit between the pins that sit on the side plates of the plow frame. This will stiffen the two sides up, and keep the pins from bending.
Once that task was done, I welded some washers onto the pins so they will line up easier when you drop the plow into the bracket in the mule drive
And this is what the whole assembly looks like when it's done
The next upgrade I need to do to this plow is to add a good cutting edge to it.
