I didn't see the other thread Rudy. Prayers sent her way from here. If you need someone to talk to about this send me a PM. I work in a hospital (physical therapy) and help people in her condition get back on their feet daily.

Re: Prayers for my wife

Thanks everyone; she was finally moved to a room but don't know when she'll be discharged. We were told her quality of life would not be good but we'll cross those bridges as they come.
Thank you again for your prayers.

Re: Prayers for my wife

Just a follow up. We got her home yesterday shortly after lunch and she is doing much better in light of everything. I had a regular follow up appointment with our cardiologist Friday morning after I had taken her to the ER and when he heard she was back in the hospital he came that morning shortly after my appointment and also through out the weekend.
We attribute his taking total control over and directing the plan of care in the ER, ICU and regular room as to what saved her life but that's another story. He and our upcoming new family doctor, who is an internist and former hospitalist are going to revamp all her medications and establish a new plan of care in which he promised would help her in light of her declining quality of life.
Thank you again for all your prayers and support. Rudy

Re: Prayers for my wife

Prayers are with you and your wife. Sometimes, someone of real human quality enters a situation, such as your doctor, who influences a much better outcome. Hang onto that doctor if possible, there ARE good people around, just a little hard to find at times.
