Re: Believers, please...

Thank you all very much!!!
She is doing very well considering all that has happened. No function in the left arm yet. And the left leg is weak. But, she will be going through a few weeks of in house therapy and hopefully will regain all that was lost very soon!
Again, thank you!! All of your prayers and well wishes are very much appreciated!!!

Re: Believers, please...

Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes!!! She is now in a rehabilitation facility for her in-house physical therapy. They expect her to be there for 2 to 3 weeks. Praying that she makes a quick and complete recovery!!!

Re: Believers, please...

Good news.
But, my wife had a similar operation about 10 years ago, she was in the rehabilitation facility about 6 weeks, twice what the doc said, and it took her the better part of a year to get to 98%.
So be patient.

Well, she is making progress! A bit slower than she would like, but she can now walk and use her left thumb and fore finger. She will be sent home tomorrow and continue out patient therapy!! Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts!!

Re: Believers, please...

That's wonderful, I'm very happy for you both! I hope it continues as part of a full recovery.

After a brain surgery last year, some things with nerves were not working right for me for a while. Most of them (fortunately, the most important ones) have gradually improved with time, and are largely back to normal. I hope that some of the others will eventually improve. But even if they don't all end up the way I'd hope, the important things from my surgery were successful, which is great.

I had to remind myself (with my wife's help) to be patient. It's a marathon, not a sprint. There will be better days, and worse ones, try not to dwell too much on the temporary setbacks. I hope she continues to trend in the right direction!
