Red Maxx blower

My Red Max back pack blower has always stats on about the third pull and worked perfectly until the other day...it was working fine and it just stopped running, and will not restart...still plenty of fuel ..I opened the tank ...cap not obstructed....took off carb and gave a bath in ultrasonic cleaner, sprayed it out with carb cleaner, and blew it dry...used a spark tester...has good spark...put in new plug....still won't start up any ideas?

Re: Red Maxx blower

Educated guesses:
Fuel filter/lines, diaphragm in carb, lack of vacuum pulse to operate said diaphragm.

One time I had a 2 cylinder 2 stroke quad that just died one day. She'd barely run on one cylinder, sometimes. No smoke, no bang, no rattle. Found out one of the crank bearings quit on me, causing need for total rebuild. Think maybe a bearing quietly let go so it screwed up compression (might want to do a compression test!) or timing? I never would have thought of that if the one on my quad (Yamaha Banshee) hadn't have went out so stealthy like.

Overkill.
I love overkill.

I'm Ted.
