Clearly, I am not trying to win any races with the speed of this rebuild (my grass is thankful for the dependable 812), but it is mostly back together. Took this opportunity to swap to a red pto clutch spring and a set of tapered axles. The whole process was pretty simple with the use of an illustrated parts diagram that clearly indicates the parts on each shaft; lots of needle bearings and different size thrust washers. Having a donor trans was nice too, since I could pick the nicest gears and forks to use for my rebuild.
