So my next best option is a 2014 JD 930M with 1700 hours for $3,900. I was hoping to keep the budget lower, but it seems like there's a lot of old crap out there in my price range.

Th Z900 series is JDís top of the line commercial mid mount zero turn rider. The z930m is an excellent machine. The 7 Iron Pro deck on these machines cuts and disperses clippings wet or dry better than any machine I have ever used. As far as price goes, some of the best deals on these that Iíve seen are around $6k for machines with 500hrs or less.
