This is version 2.0 of "What did you do to or on your John Deere today?" :howdy:
That is such an eye pleasing job! Tractor moves forward, snow slides off the blade, clean driveway left! This is exactly the reason I want a paved driveway!March in the Mid-Atlantic

This is my first year with one and it is amazing how much easier it is on you, your machine and your time. And that is with a machine a quarter of the size of the one I had been using and now no cab. This is exactly the reason I want a paved driveway!
Ha. #40 roller chains. Helps a lot for turning on ice/snow. Only use in winter obviously. Are those bicycle chains on the front tires? :tango_face_surprise
Now that sounds like March! I haven't seen multiple storms within a few days of each other yet. :tango_face_grin:Try to follow this: Today I am plowing what was the "tomorrow" Snow I was pushing yesterday's snow back over the day before snow to make way for.

None of these snow falls were very deep, but 3", 4", then 6" all in the first 3 days of March

Kyle, need to play the Lotto to afford to do that large area! :tango_face_devil:That is such an eye pleasing job! Tractor moves forward, snow slides off the blade, clean driveway left! This is exactly the reason I want a paved driveway!
The tractor looks great with the new tires on it.Put new tires and wheels on the JD 650. It has turf tires previously.
Also replaced the broken left steering arm, ignition switch and light switch.
Nice little unit there! It looks great with the tires. my next door neighbor has one of those with a FEL and a 60" deck. I'd love to snag it off of him but............ he won't sell. :tango_face_crying:Put new tires and wheels on the JD 650. It has turf tires previously.

All this talk of SNOW and COLD makes me so relieved to have escaped the Twin Cities of MN after 42 years of it. Twenty-five + carrying the US Mail! Here, in TN, we've had a lot of rain, but it does go down the drain. I was going to mow around the house where we've got some "clumps" of high grass, but alas......more rain!Kyle...How much snow over the weekend? I was seeing forecasts Friday that SD, MN, NE, and IA could see 15 plus inches by March 15?
I'd like to see your lapping processNo Spring in sight here in East Central Minnesota. So a cabin fever project found the bench-a refresh of a Sundstrand In-Line 15 hydrostatic pump. I broke an axle on the 400 last summer and ended up with a spare pump. A clean up, new seals, and some hand lapping detail work. A little paint and it will look and should run like new. It didn't have a ton of hours on it and was in pretty good shape inside. The tractor is working fine right now although the pump is a little loud. This pump will go on the shelf until I have a reason to pull the transaxle.
