I picked up an electric ATV 3 ph today for $150. It will lift 250 lbs and apply a downforce of 300 lbs. It fits into a 2-inch hitch with top support bars. It looks pretty substantial and comes with a nice wiring harness with relays. I'll post some pictures once I get it mounted. It sells for over $800 so for $150 I feel I got a good deal. It's still in the box and has never been mounted.
Looks hefty, bet it is pretty decent. I wonder how quick that linear actuator is? I dont think I’d pay 800$, but for 150$ - I’d say ya did great. Is it comparable to a Cat 0 - spacing/pins?
It is a Cat 0 hitch with the same pin and hole diameters. It weighs about 80 pounds and there seems to be a lot of accessories for it like plows, rakes, discs, diggers, carryalls etc.
Here is a link to the video.
Of course, I am going to modify it a little to make the top supported as well as the hitch area. I will use pins so that it is easily removable like it's designed to be. I intend to end up with three pins holding it on.
