JD 47 snowblower models

Hi, does anyone know the difference between these 2 older models of JD 47 snow blowers and their compatibility?

MO2752x (mine has a quick hitch that terminates in a pulley for an electric PTO and is on my 318)

MO2753x (I can't find any information on this model but it came off of a 420 and terminates with a coupler for front PTO)

Thanks.

Re: JD 47 snowblower models

The only 47s for a 318 that I have seen have a pulley that is driven with a belt from the electric clutch on the onan engine. Would it be possible that someone removed that driven sheave and added another electric clutch and then put a standard pulley on the engine?

Re: JD 47 snowblower models

You are also talking completely different mounts due to the front frame widths between the 3XX, and the 420/430 series. Plus the 47 went on to be mounted on some SCUTs (4000 series) also, again using different mounting frame and PTO adaptions.

Re: JD 47 snowblower models

Thanks everyone for the replies and the great information! I don't think either of the blowers or quick-hitch units were modified.
