No not really for a x530. The x540 that's for sale is still overpriced somewhat. I'm assuming that's the one your asking about anyways and not a x530.

Re: 2011 x-530

Does the condition reflect the hours ?? Something sounds fishy, maybe they disconnected the hour meter ? Anyway that's to high for that model and year as I have been looking myself at x530/540 models used.

Re: 2011 x-530

I just bought a 2011 x530 (54" deck) with 237 hours for $3500. The seller included a 3 bag bagger with power blower and all parts needed. The machine is definitely used but I would say in very good condition considering its age and usage - I was very excited at the opportunity.

I would say check it out in person. At 39 hours it should pretty much look brand new - hold it to that standard. The 2011 x530 is essentially a modern x580 which is $7300 new. Exact same frame, wheels, body (different hood), engine, transmission. Only real difference is the updated mowing deck (with hydraulic on-demand mulch flap which is cool) and the fancier instrument gauge cluster - and of course warranty on a new machine. At that price I would probably go with the new machine. If it was $3500 like mine the decision is a little different (I was going between buying the used x530 or just going whole hog on a new x590).

Re: 2011 x-530

Thanks CWD. It is a very nice tractor. The son is selling for his deceased father. From what I understand, the guy had just bought it, and only used one season, before he passed on. Not sure why it has taken this long to put it up for sale, but the pics look very legitimate. I currently own an X-380 and I'm quite happy with it. The only reason I was thinking of the X-530, was that it may accept a snow plow and/or a blower, which I don't believe the 380 does. Just looking to maybe rid myself of another machine that I use for snow removal. If you got your's for $3500 with the bagger, $4999 is not a bargain by any stretch. Thanks for your reply.

This is technically still a deal, mine was just a better deal The x530 I got is decent but not perfect, cracked grill, cracks in seat, deck leveling parts stripped. Mine is a definitely used machine with over 200 hours. With that in mind, it should be lower priced. I still feel pretty good about it all though.

You are correct. Not sure where I came up with X-530?

If it was close to me I'd try and go get a look and feel for it Imo. It was one I ran across while searching for low hrs X540's.
