Question STX38 Neutral Safety Switch

Would anyone happen to know where the neutral safety switch on a yellow deck STX38 is located on the mower? Can't get mine to start (Not getting fire to the plug). I've looked at the online John Deere Parts Site and I have a wiring schematic, but neither really show its location. It is part number AM37643. Trying to check all the switches. The seat switch is working. Thanks.

Re: STX38 Neutral Safety Switch

I have the black deck......Mine is under the floorboard by where the brake pedal goes through....I have to push the brake in to start it..not sure if yours would be the same.

BTW, are you saying it cranks over but gets no spark?.....If so, I dont think its the switches....they wont crank at all unless the switches are made.

Question Re: STX38 Neutral Safety Switch

Thanks. Yeah it will turn over. Just no spark to the plug. Battery is good and all the cables and grounds are good. Any idea of some things to look at??
I checked the continuity on the switch and it appears to be functioning properly.
