Put her to bed for the winter

Put the boat away for the winter this morning. Summers sure fly by! See you in nine months!

Re: Put her to bed for the witer😢

I live in Maine and I don't put my bass boat away for the winter until at least November. I can't imagine parking it on labor day.

My "honey-do list" is so long it has chapters.

Re: Put her to bed for the witer😢

With the downpour last Friday the water here has cooled. Swimming pools and water parks are closed. School has started cuts attendance drastically.
Fall fishing weather is upon us. Strange I have not gone fishing in thirty years. With no need for a fishing license next year I just might have to dig the gear out and pick it up again.
Now why did the boat get put away before the ice formed?

We were out Saturday and the water was chilly! In norther MN the recreational boating is from Memorial Day to Labor Day if your lucky.

We had a cold June this year and my first time out was June 30th. 60 days season this year😳. We made it out about 20 times though.

Pulled the carpet and got her all cleaned up before the cover went on. Not bad for 10 years old.

I bought it used for a fraction of new prices. Our season is WAY to short to invest what the want for the new ones.
