Yeah My first Gen intercooled with 180K on it can't use this stuff. I really wish I could get more than 15mpg out of it. I have done the 5* pump tweak, fuel pin, 3200 governor spring, and a fuel screw twist. Nothing major but it woke it up yet still gets 15mpg. That's what it was getting before but now it just moves faster.

I'm looking to sell the 93 and buy a 2000.5 with 300K all stock, body work done just needs a TOTAL interior resto. Carpet, seats, head liner. CRUSTY!

Mine needs rockers. ( I have them) and could use paint. Other wise rust free since I did the body mounts and floors 2 years ago.

Been driving Deeres since 1974, Dodges since 1984, and Davidsons since 2004. Love my wife and kids I'm a blessed man.

Hmm, that is strange. The VE pumps have a reputation for being pretty efficient in the MPG department, more so than the P pumps. Maybe your truck is geared extra low or something.

Thanks, She is a good ol' truck and I love her but I can't afford 15mpg for work as I drive a minimum of 45 mins one way to job sites and sometimes 2hrs.

I built the truck 4 years ago for work when I had a gas card with my old job so mpgs didn't matter. Now, even though I'm making more money at my new job I can't afford the price of fuel.
I love having everything I need in the truck and being able to haul what I need to it's just not economical.

Ha! Seen that before, that's pretty cool. Amazing how they made a virtual experience so realistic from the bits I've seen. Heard it's pretty popular too, or maybe it's the agricultural farming one I'm thinking of. How does it work, do you create your own rides and routes?

Think this is the one I saw.

Re: Diesel Power Discussion

Got the 'ol 12v'er repainted and bedliner redone.

One of the guys at the body shop thought it would be fun to do a couple of brake stands apparently. Being a vehicle enthusiast who notices everything, I noticed some lines on both rear tires, I look in the parking lot for evidence, "heyyy, which one of you did the burnouts." Yup, busted. Guilty as charged while handing one of them some melted rubber off the rear tires.

Re: Diesel Power Discussion

The truck looks great, Austen, is this the repaint from a while back or was it done twice?

Re: Diesel Power Discussion

Sort of a 1+1 deal. I wanted some other things done the first time but it had been there for close to two months and they were booked out so I decided I would bring it back during the summer to finish the rest. This time I had them redo the bedliner all around including having it sprayed on the door sills where the paint wears off and the continuation of it along the fender trim. It needed a new driver's side front fender which they put on this time as well.
