Default John Deere 111, 108, 116 Snowblower hookup. Pics!

I have a John Deere 111. Mid 80s I assume..

Last spring I painted it and got it running smoothly.
Been a reliable mower for the last 2 seasons.

I've been hunting for a snowblower attachment. Finally found one for $100.

It's pretty rough looking, but it should clean up and restore nicely. Hopefully I'll have it cleaned and painted later this week.

Anyways, it turns out you need some type of pulley assembly that bolts under the tractor! I had no idea...

Looked around on eBay..Cant find any..

The previous owner never actually used the blower, but he knows someone who might have one (but I'm not counting on that lead getting me anywhere)

So anyways.. Aside from posting a wanted ad on Craigslist..Not really sure where to look for this under mower pulley assembly.

Oh, and I also need wheel weights, chains.
Any ideas? Anyone have these parts sitting in their shed?

Also, anyone use a snowblower on a 108, 111, or 116? Do they work pretty good? I'm excited to use it this winter. I'm around Syracuse, NY where we get more snow than any other U.S. city with a population over 100k. A snowblower is not a luxury. Everyone has one.

Still looking for the decals. I have the hood emblem, just need to paint and install it. It's not quite as pretty as that now that I've mowed with it for 2 seasons..

Sorry the pic is so crappy.. Its pretty nasty outside right now. Not going out there.

welcome, I live in syracuse too, and yes every once in a while you need a blower :-)

that baby is in pretty rough shape, but if parts are available (and it is the correct model) you can get it working well again.

quite a bit is missing though, aside from the deflector chute there are two LONG arms that go under the tractor to mount it, at the end of the arms is the assembly for the pullys allowing the belt to connect to the PTO etc.

that is a single stage blower but throws the snow amazing well.

go here to the link below to find a parts blowup. You can order online and pick up an North Syracuse Lawn and Snow-
