Thanks bob , I thought my speed ex was a 40`s B , BUT ,its picture is listed with the M`s in the first site that you listed.
That would make it a 50`s model.
Member Mt Ida , chim in here , what do I have here ? lol
I will research the one thats for sale today.

I went and looked at it , and bought it. I cant get up thr mountain side with my truck to load it. So , Im headed back with the 2210 , I think I can get it down to the road that away.
Its been setting a long time , out in the open, It is all there with the mower deck.
Its a 1630 , 16 horse.I will post some field pics later , here is one pic of a gentleman`s 1630 thats nice.

Thanks Jim , I want to make it clear that the pic above is not the tractor I bought. Its like that , but not even close to being that nice.
I`m waiting for thunder storms to pass so I can go get it.

But--DrB.._
What about your first statement about your son 'wrecking a truck"---is he allright? What about the truck? And how is a tractor involved?

I hope everything is o.k. with you--I've had a pretty bad day here--

not to add to ur concerns....

take care!1

I read it as his son was using the wrecker to get a truck..Thus he was "Wreckering a truck"..

Glenn, I didnt word it properly . Donnie was helping me by towing a pickup truck for me , I was tied up on the other side of the county towing also. We are fine, but thanks for the concern and I hope your day has worked out better for you.

Bob8417 That boy is ok infact last night he hauled a Goldwing Bike to searcy Ar. for me. Got home at 2am , and he whined all day about it. I would say poor Baby!! then turn my head and laugh. The 1630 is pretty rusty but all there. I will post one pic now , and the rebuild pics when its done .

Just guessing, that looks like a late 60's-70's model.

Don't think anything had a 16hp in the 50's.
