Default Converting Kohler Magnum M14 to electric start

Please help,

I have the remains of a Kohler K321 that had electric start, and I now have a magnum m14 with a pull starter. I would like to convert the M14 to electric start.

Other than the flywheels being different, does anyone know if the starters would be the same. Would any other starter related parts be sharable between these two engines?

If anyone has parts for the M14, please send me a PM

Thanks

Let me phrase it in a question...

Has anyone with a Kohler Magnum M12, m14, or m16 ever converted from a pull starter to electric start?

Are there any other parts needed other than the flywheel, starter, and stator?

Are there any gotchas to watch out for when doing this conversion?

thanks

I never did hear back from any of you guys...

Anyhow, this swap is pretty easy. If you don't care about having the stator charging circuit, a ring gear can actually be installed on the stock pull starter flywheel (doesn't have the magnets for the stator).

I actually located a used electric starter flywheel off of ebay. I also picked up a used stator. The next piece to buy is the starter, which are easy to find either locally or online.

Parts that interchange between the Kseries and magnums include:
the stator, flywheel ring gear, and the voltage regulator. The flywheel and starter are not interchangeable.
