Sounds like a good deal for $ 600.00 with a V-Twin Vanguard and looks to be in good shape as well. Does it have an hour meter and if so how many hours?

Update: It is 6 yrs old, not use for 3 (does that hurt, dry rot etc ). It is a belt drive.

Check everything out that you can see. Has it been stored inside or outdoors in the elements? Is the engine coated in oil or clean and looks well cared for? Cracked seat, faded paint and dry rotted tires usually mean it has not been well cared for or maintained, especially if it's only 6 years old. Lots of tractors are belt drive as well. $ 600.00 if it's in good shape is not a bad price.

2tractors, that particular Wizard was manufactured by AYP. So, it is pretty much the same as a similar vintage Craftsman.

For $600, if I had a clue where Shelbyville is, I'D get it. Jump on that tractor with both feet. The 16hp Vanguard is worth the money, and a 42" cut is a decent deck for mowing.
