Default Wisconsin engine?

I have 2 model l's with wisconsin bkn engines. Does any have any info on where to get parts for these. I do have the owners and service manuals. I assume that wisconsin offered these as a direct replacement for the gravely engine?

You can get parts from Tim Stine at Rock Creek Consulting in Waterside Pa. 814-766-3675 or at wisconsinengines@embarqmail.com. This is where I got mine. Hope this helps.

As I understand it, the Gravely dealers had the Wisconsin engine kits available as replacements for the Gravely made L model motors, during the pre-Kohler engine years. I believe the Wisconsin motor was an 8HP unit.

The tractor pictured is certainly not representative of most Wisconsin powered Gravely L's that one would find today - as you can imagine. I believe that machine took Best of Show at last year's Gravely Mow-In and it's owner invested several hundred dollars getting her repaired/ready.

Sweet looking tractor though. I'd certainly like to acquire one at some point - never seen one here in MI.

The BKN Wisconsin engine from 1955 was rated at 7HP @ 3600 rpm.
