i have looked every where on this tiller i have found all kinds of numbers but i go to the mtd website to get a manual but none of them are right here is the numbers i have found

th-1002
th-1001-1
hh60-105079e ser3306d
1239-(73)
and there is a date stamoed in to the casting by the trans it is 10/29/73
ill post a picture of it tommrow i am fixing it for a community garden

I'm fairly certain these numbers came off the engine hh60-105079e ser3306d

It looks like a Tecumseh number

From what they tell me you need a serial number stamped in the casting on top on the transmission next to where the handles attach. At least it is on mine.

i have looked for the serial number by the handles and doont see anythang just a number th1019 and 1003 anyone know what it might look like

At the MTD site when you get to model & serial # you can put in "Horse" for model and "01" for serial #. A list will come up for all. just pick one and click on "view" to the right.
