Default Kubota B3030 Cab question

Hi Everyone. I'm considering a Kubota B3030 with a Factory Cab and was wondering if any owners knew how tall it is. I'm wondering if it will fit into a standard garage with a 7 1/2 foot high door opening. Thanks for any assistance.

I'm not sure about the exact height of the B3030 with a cab. I do know my B2320 with R4's has to have the rops folded to clear my standard garage door. What type of tires? I think the turfs come in a taller profile. HTH

Just sold my B3030HSDC. With the R4's it is basically 84" high (7 feet) so if your garage door is 90" inches (7.5 feet) you should be fine. Turf tires are taller but I believe they will clear your door to. I actually squeaked mine into a 7 ft garage door but I had to remove all of the inside door hardware and bungie the door open to get it in.

I had a standard 7' garage door and I thought it would clear it at first, but it didn't by a hair. Fortunately, I also have a 10' door so it was no real problem. I would actually have bought a larger tractor if I had known that it wouldn't clear the 7' door.

I would imagine that my opening is 7 1/2 feet, but the door hangs below that. I think you would almost have to try it, and I know how inconvenient that would be but it hard to measure the exact height of the curbed cab top and also to find the lowest point on the door.

Did you get the tractor yet?

I know this is a bit off topic but after reading this thread, I'm starting to wonder, What is a standard size garage door? The opening on mine is 7 1/2 feet tall and 9 feet wide. I realize my building matrial knowledge level is not the greatest.

Thanks,
Steve

Just measured mine and it's 7' which I thought was standard - well it looks standard to me.

I think 7 foot is the norm around here for new construction. Garage doors can range from 6 feet on up. Many older new england homes that have garages are closer to 6 feet. The garage attached to my house is only 6.5 feet and the house was built in 1955. If I was building a garage from scratch I would probably go with an 8 foot door. My prebuilt portable garage that I store the Grand L in has a 7 foot door which was the largest I could get.

I just measured my garage door opening and it was exactly 7 feet, so if yours is 7 1/2 feet, you will have no problem with the cab.
