Question Snapper LT12

Hi all,
Names Dale or 7miles. New to the forum, found it when looking for info on my old but new to me Snapper LT12. I got this from my dad, who bought it brand new in 1989. I got the books and all the up keep he has done on it for the last 16 years....He bought a new Snapper 4 years ago. Anyways it runs like a dream. Matter of fact pushed my first snow fall with it today. Now it wasn't much of a snow.....but like I told my wife I had to play.

Any how what I want to do is to tear it down this spring. Just redo the whole thing clean it up repaint....thats really all it needs, oh and a new seat. However I can't seem to locate the decals for this tractor anywhere online.

So does anyone know where one might come up with this decal package????

Thanks for all the help and for the great forum

Dale

hello Dale or 7 miles. It seems like folks are mighty busy today but I'm not. I've been watching glue dry most of the day. If you get a chance to post a pic of your 89 Snapper we would sure like to see it and then again next spring when you get it cleaned up.

Dale.

I'm working on a LT11 myself. I can't help on the decals though as I haven't even looked for any yet.

Hello,7 mile. You will find there is not alot of traffic on the snapper forum.Ive had a post myself on here for months about paint color code for the snapper lt.You can buy just about anything for your snapper, including all decals,at www.hertzlershop.com.Just have all your #,s off of the machine.Good luck, and if you come up with a paint code, let me know.

Default A couple ideas

Hi Dale,

I restored my snapper lt 16 about 3 years ago. I had printed off all the available manuals from Snapper, so I had the part #'s of the decals- I searched the actual part # and finally found someone selling a NOS set on ebay.

I think I got lucky- you may just need to keep searching

good juck -jim
