Default Ih 147 Cub Hydro Tranny Filter & Fluid

I've been working on my newly acquired 147 and need to know where I can get a transmission filter and fluid. Is the filter only available at IH or Cub Cadet, or would a local auto parts store carry it? My closest IH dealer is 70 miles away round trip. It also says in the owner manual to use Hy-Tran transmission fluid which is the IH brand. Is there a suitable substitute for the Hy-Tran? The book also calls for 30W SAE oil for the Kohler 321 , would a multi viscosity oil be ok like 10W-30W? Many thanks for those that chimed in on my earlier post regarding manuals.

Thanks again,

Rick

I would use Hy-Tran ONLY! But you can get it and the filter at a Case dealer if there is one closer to you.
