I have 27HP 4WD FordNH that labors when I pull my double bottom 14" with it. You can always remove one of the moldboards and turn it into a single bottom.

If ya got low enough gears and plenty of weight,,, sure, right up to the time you bust something expensive. I also have 26 hp 4wd AC and I had 2 bottoms on it, makes it work REAL hard, just not worth tearing up the trans or rear to me, I only pull 1 bottom 14" I can go at a good clip and get the furrow to roll real nice, even in sod. My plow was also 2 btm and I took one off, I plow less than an acre each year, and even if I did more I'd just get some more seat time!

Depends on the size plow. I built a 2-bottom with 10"ers and my 20hp gas 2WD tractor pulls it easy! I'm sure your diesel has more grunt than this 20hp Onan and with 4WD you should have no problem pulling twin 10's or maybe twin 12's. BUT they don't sell them this way, so you have to build or have one built.

Nice looking plow ya got there olcow!! Very inventive, I like it!,, maybe I could pull a 6 bottom?? Around here the "rule of thumb" for plows is 25hp/18", 20hp/16", 15hp/14", 10hp/12",,, guess that would make 10" bottoms 5hp a bottom,,, darn I can only do 5 if I stay with the rules,,, course I can pull that 1x14 at 5mph, with no weight on the tractor at all. I think a 5 or 6 would looks pretty sweet!

One thing that helps make it eisier to pull is polish up the plows. As in get it shiney. When your done using it grease or oil it up then cover it so it doesnt rust.
