I have just aquired and older Chipper/Vac 5 hp machine from a friend. Model #47282 which I was told by my friend is about 15+ years old. Question is can parts still be had for this machine. It is in great shape now, but I may needs parts in the future. Murray bought out the old Troy Built/Gardenway stuff. Murray says to call Magnito Power for parts. Their # has been disconnected. I don't know which direction to go now if parts are ever needed.

Actually MTD bought out most of the troy-Bilt Garden Way lines. You might try them for parts. I know that they didn't take the wood chippers, but I believe that MTD did take the model you have.

OPPS! My mistake, I had thought that they had taken the vacuum units.
