Default 9 N with Sherman high,low.

I know this is a hard question, I looked at a 9N with the Sherman side shift, new narrow tires on the front , good tires on the rear. New front wheels.
solid red rust , no exhaust. hasnt been started for some time.
The man ask for $700.00, I turned it down , then he ask for 600 I said I would give 300.
Any opinions? am I shooting to low?
I would not fixe it up , I would part it out. BUT keep the Sherm.

I'd say that $600 is fair... especially if the engine is not stuck.

A Hi/Lo Sherman (assuming that it works) is worth $600 by itself...

Dr, we all know what's best for us at the time. Around here $600.00 won't buy you anything. If the rear tires are in good shape they are worth $400.00.
The Sherman is worth $500.00 the new front tires $100.00. What have you got to lose.
If you don't take it, let me know.

Parts and tires alone would double+ what you are paying!!

Think of the block,tranny,tires,trumpets...etc....

Go for it..(I know you probably got it by now!!)..

If you hold out too long we may find out where it is . The shermans are getting harder to find and more expensive, don't miss the chance if you can help it.

I was looking at a nine N up the road, not in nice shape and they are asking 2400 for it.

Can't blame you for that, you can't even try the sherman which is important to make it worth buying.
