I wanted to put a Canopy on my tractor but it adds about 4 inches to the top of the ROPS and it wont fit through my garage at that height, The Sunblocker Top would be able to take off for easy storage but I am wondering if anybody has had one of these and know if they are a sturdy unit. They run about $200.00. Here is pics. of the two.

I've been looking those myself. I saw the hardtop setup at the CASEIH dealer on a CUBCUT. The ABS top seems like it would last and easy to take off/on. I have not seen the other style. slkpk

I hadn't seen the lightweight yellow one. It looks nice. What's the source for that?

I like the canvas top. I would say it also is safer as your center of gravity is lower with it (although I don't know how much the fiberglass unit weighs).

I like both of them. Let's have each of you buy one and write a review. Greenster is baking in the sun so count him in to pony up the cash!!!

I make a point of never mowing in the heat of the day in the summer. Too brutal for me...especially when the humidity is 95% or higher. That doesn't mean I couldn't appreciate the shade!! I might look into it.

The ABS Plastic Canopy Weighs around 70 lbs. I was told and has to be purchased through a JD dealer for some reason. I priced it through my dealer and he said about $450.00 but all JD dealers will probally be differnt. The yellow canopy can be bought staight from femco. I am leaning towards the yellow canopy cause of the height prob. I have withe door of my garage unless I find out in the mean time that this is not a sturdy unit. Thats why I hope I find someone that bought 1 so I can get their opinion.
