Default Will a 60 inch mid-mount blade for X-series fit my jd 425?

Found a John Deere 60 inch mid-mount blade for X-series 2 and 4 wheel drive lawn tractor and want to know if it will fit on my john deere 425. I know my 425 had a mid mount plow as a attachment option I just don't know if the x series is the same as the 425 or not. Anybody know?

The Best advice I can Give You is to try it You may Have to Modify it to fit. Deere did Not Make a Mid Mount Blade for the 425 But there could have Been aftermarket Manufactures That did. But One was Not available from Deere for the 425

If you're wanting a direct fit, then it won't work. If you have the ability to do some fab work, then you might be able to make it work.

No it won't fit at all, and trying to make it fit will just damage your tractor and cause you to become despondent......I can save you from all this, please mail it to me (i'll fit my x740 perfectly)

Your right I was wrong. I thought that was an option for my 425. I just checked and it never was an option for my 425. I was going to go buy it I don't own it lol. Here is the ad on Craigslist. http://burlington.craigslist.org/for/3752183681.html Thanks anyways guys. I think I will just add a 3 point hitch off ebay and put a blade or box scrapper on the back.

There is a cat 0 and a cat 1 3 point hitch on ebay. What hitch is better? I didn't think there was any option other then cat 0. Unless it is a typo
