Help Snapper to Simplicity cross fit?

Hey guys.

I have a 2003 Snapper YT1644 that I just purchased used. From everything I can find its exactly like a Simplicity Conquest with a 44 inch deck.

I have some Snapper part numbers for different attachments but can't find any of it anywhere. Are the Snapper numbers the same a Simplicity? Does Simplicity put a different part number on the same item because of the color? Bottom line, What older Simplicity attachments will work on my tractor?

Here are the Snapper numbers I have.

1694153 twin grass catcher
1694304 Turbo
1694306 Turbo mount

1694295 Snow blower
1694296 Frame

1694151 Tiller

1693754 Snow blade
1694147 Frame
1684947 Lift

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a start. I've been to that sight but never seen that page.

I believe the MFR#s you posted would be the same for both product lines.

Congrats on the tractor! I have the Simplicity branded version and it's been great! I got mine with just the deck but I've since added the dozer and the turbo bagger.
The Snapper/Simplicity numbers are the same, but don't treat the partstree list as gospel. When I bought my turbo bagger the turbo and the hitch for the bagger were listed as compatible on partstree but the actual triple bag unit was not. Since the whole thing came as an assembly I didn't fret it. The explanation is that the bagger is newer than the tractor and when they revised the bagger unit it got a new model number, but that number was never added to list of attachments to the no longer made tractor.
None of this is to say ignore their list, they are 99% correct, just that some things not on their list will work.
The other thing not listed on their site are the kits that allow older attachments to be used with the newer tractors. Generally speaking the costs of the kits kills any savings from picking up an older blower, but they do exist.

Thanks Brian.

That's what I'm starting to see. By the time you buy all the parts and pieces for the bagger it's twice what the tractor cost me.

I know exactly what you mean. (I think if you searched my posts you'd see me write exactly that in the WTB section!) I almost bought the turbo without the bagger, then the bagger without the hitch and the costs would have added up FAST. Eventually, I got the whole assembly used from a member here and after a bit of crashing and banging I got it all mounted up and it works great. Stay diligent on the local craigslist and ebay and you should be able to find what you need.
