Default Mangled Metal

Doing body work on a flat bed left front corner. I know it may not be perfect and I do have to put some more paint on the repair. But, after looking at the mangled metal that was there it's like brand new.
I would like to see what hit the truck or, what the truck hit. This is 10 gauge material a cross-member got wiped out and, the top corner where the stake pockets are was bent down about 45 degrees. The whole front left side of the truck bed has a upward heave. But to a untrained eye will not notice it.
