since its a 2000 you dont have to worry about the plastic cam gear, but 3300 is alot for that many hours.
I would think 2600-2800 would be more fair.

thank you very much for the reply!

trying to get a handle on what would be a good price for these 4XX series mowers.

there was a 2001 445 -3 pt that sold in my area with 1200 hrs for 3000$

and also for sale is a 455 diesel, 60 in deck,3 point, model 40 loader, 1500 hrs, for 4600$

I am finally understanding that I need a REAL garden tractor that I can add attachments to.

2750-3100 would be good, its a hard sell regardless, not alot of people looking for a 13 year old, 1300 hour tractor that costs over 3000 bucks.

But it will sell, count on it.

The 455 with a loader would be awesome, especially if it has the 60" deck!

I can't believe that 455 is still available. If one of you doesn't snatch it up, I might have to go for a road trip!

As for your original question, that does seem a bit high. However, like Red said, it'll probably sell at that price. I'm not sure what your target price limit is, but if it's under $5k then the 455 is definitely the best bang for the buck out of those three.

Price is a bit high. If you have some patience you probably find a better deal further into the summer months. If you are looking for attachments then I would try and find a package deal, it saves on searches later and maybe a better deal for you. 4x5 attachments always seem expensive to me and can be some what of a PIA to find. I could never find a front blade for my 425 that was under $700-800. I am used to the older generation 400 series where you can blades for under $500 if you look. Anyways just MHO.

If you need it and can't wait then shoot them an offer under $3k and see what happens.
