I know Deere offered the 540 rear PTO on the 445 but did they also offer a
2000 RPM option?I'd rather have the 2000RPM PTO since I have a bunch of 2000 RPM attachments.

Not according to the JD parts catalog, Gary. Of course that doesn't mean that the OEM of that rear end did not offer the option on other makes.

Most people want to go the opposite way . . . they have a 2000rpm 318, 420, etc. and want to gear it to 540 rpm. I suppose you could make a gear box to change the ratio to 2000rpm . . . but it wont be an easy task. There have been others that gears a 2000 down to 540rpm.

The 540 PTO was the only one offered in the 4x5.

Something like this? No idea if it's still made, etc. You might be able to find a gear reducer with the right splines.

MTD Made a Front Mounted 540RPM PTO attachment that was Run By a 2000RPM front PTO and It Looks Just Like The One Dunkelstar is showing

would probably be easier to buy a 300 or early 400 series instead of trying to make an adapter.
