Default Will this fit?

I just got into tractors and I have a question on attachments for my 1976 Sears(Murray made) ST8 model 502.25900
I am looking at this snow blower and I have no clue if it will work on my tractor.

I can even try and fit it to my MTD 698 model made in 1984
I want to get a blade or blower but in Idaho there are so few willing to sell them
Any help would be great

Do you have a model number from the blower? It might be able to be 'to fit' with some cutting and welding, or it might just slap on and work. Can't really tell from the 'small' pic.

From what little I can see in the pic, that blower appears to fit the newer
( '85?? and up) vertical shaft mowers. They bolt up under tractor and run off the bottom pulley of thte motor that the mowing deck uses, I have one on my 97 Craftsman. Don't know how your 8 hp is setup, but need better pics of both to say yes or no.

The numbers are listed in the 2010 fit up guide in the stickies section
