Default John Deere 2320 turns over but won't start??

Hello I am new to the forum and am looking for a little help.

I have a 2008 John Deere 2320 with 330 Hours.

My tractor will turn over just fine but won't fire. The last time it did this I changed the fuel filter and had a heck of a time getting it to start so I put a jump box on it to help the battery. Once I put the jump box on it fired right up.

I've been using it for a month with no problems until last night. I went to start it and again it just turned over but no fire. I put the jump box on it again and it started right up. This time my tachometer doesn't work but the tractor ran fine.

I pulled it back in to the shop and shut it off and tried to re-start it. Again it turns over great but wouldn't start.

Any idea why it will start with an added jump box but not with the battery alone? The battery is turning the motor over great.

Thanks for the help.

Brett

Agree. A bad or shorted cell can create all sort of electrical issues.

You might have more luck in the CUT part of the forum, lots of 2320 owners over there.
