Default 318 power steering cylinder

Hi guys! Does anyone have a power steering cylinder/ram for a 318 that doesn't leak? Called JD, they want over 300 for a new one, crazy. Hoping to find a good used one.

You need to PM Alan in Vermont. He can rebuild it for you for much less than that. He has done two blade cylinders for me. Top quality work!

I found on ebay someone out of Wisconsin selling new cylinders for 185 shipped. I ordered one a few hours ago. But I'll get in contact with the guy and see how much he'll charge to rebuild the one I have. I plan on getting another 318 here in the near future, so I'm going to keep parts for cores.

Can't hurt to have a spare.

Exactly. I just got a return email from Alan, once I get my new one in, I'll be sending the core out to him ASAP.

Got the new cylinder in today. Installed it with a new filter and a fresh change of hydraulic oil. Also gave it a new set of blades. I'll be sending the old cylinder out to Alan in Vermont soon to have him rebuild it as a spare!
