I take he's doing stacks?
http://www.sbsdieselperformance.com/...roducts_id=171 http://www.parleysdieselperformance....exhaust-stacks Just for looks, as 8 inch will not add any performance. And make sure if he's doing stacks he get them up higher than the cab. Sounds from stacks that are equal height to the cab really add some noise in the cab. Plus, with stacks, if he parks in a garage he may have some clearance issues.....

Well I'll be interested on how he's going to run it? If he's running it out back the spare under the bed he may have an interference issue. I'll keep looking and see if I can find it for him.

i was just told, he is going to run an 8" stack from the underside of the truck, through the bed, and up out the top. and yes, he said 7 feet.

We used to sell exhaust pipe up to 6" O.D. at the parts store I worked at,they had a semi-truck supply counter as well as car parts..not sure where you'd buy anything bigger, maybe plumbing pipe can be had in 8" size but it'd weight about 50 lbs a foot or more!...you could get 8" stainless steel stove pipe with no seams but you'd be paying 1000 bucks for it,it cost me 35 bucks for 2 feet of 6" nearly 20 years ago for my wood stove in my garage!..even then the 6" exhaust pipe was over 12 bucks per foot and it was plain aluminized steel!..

Really, since it is just for looks, then her could run smaller under the truck, cut a much smaller hole in the bed (for like a 4 inch pipe), and run the 8 inch from the bed up to above the roof line, maybe 4-5 feet would be needed. Could save him some cash.
