Take the full model number of your JD (for example, mine is M00430X477478) and then go to THIS WEB SITE and enter it in. It'll give you the info.

Ok, then maybe this will help? CLICK HERE
You'll need the serial number vs the model number: LX176 Serial Numbers: 1995: 110001 1996: 130001 1997: 160001 1998: 180001

Interesting. I just put the plate information on my 214 into the WFM decoder and it says my lift is manual. I can tell by the paint that the hydraulic lift was on the maCchine when it was painted at the factory. Hmmm....

Katt,
I believe that the WFM registry only provides model info for Garden tractors, up to the 1992 model year. Your 520 is too new and your 175 is considered a lawn tractor. WFM is a great site! A lot of very good information on John Deere tractors and attachments can be found there. One will also see some great GTs owned by very talented and knowledgeable people. Don't knock it til you try it! |

I did try it! the threads' name is. How do you determine the year of your Deere? not excluding everything but GT's. ergo bogus !
I am familiar with WFM and they have great members with a wealth of info and sections MTF doesn't have. It's funny you mention attachments cause I would really be more interested in the year of any attachments we might get with a tractor cause the tractor is more easily figured out. Any help there ?? |
