Default Rejetting a 6.5 HP Duraforce

I am going to rejet my 6.5 Duraforce Lawn Boy this weekend as per this article:http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/...233252156.html. Some people, as well as the lawn boy repair manual, suggest using loctite 242 blue to seal the jets. If I use this, will I be able to remove the jets for servicing? I have never used blue loctite, but I have used red loctite and know that it would probably result in a cracked carburetor trying to remove the jets. I'm not sure if the blue type is different, as in it won't "lock" it in as much or what. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I can't answer the Loctite question, tho the folks in the Walkbehind section may be able to help. Lots of info on rejetting down there. Some have also found that the Duraforces came out with the wrong throttle plate, causing a surge. My duraforce never surged for years, then started. I pulled out the jet (behind the small pc of tape on the side of the carb), sprayed it with cleaner, ran a fine wire thru it, and no more surge.

Good Luck, and like I mentioned, tons of info down in the Walkbehind section on this procedure.
