Default Plasma Cutter Pantograph

Well this is what I made for now to get me by. The stock was some scrap aluminium that was given to me. I hope to someday add some drive screws and motors to make it CNC but the simplicity of use is growing on me.Just whip up the part shape needed out of 1/4" ply , screw it down and trace repeat if neccesary it's kind of scary how accurate it is.

electronics123.com has build it yourself drivers and power supplies really cheap because you have to put it together but they work perfectly. Im using them on my welding positioner and i have them for my cnc plasma just havent put it together yet.

Try this link for some good stepper drives.

http://www.geckodrive.com/product.aspx?c=3&i=14471

I have used some of their drives and had good luck with them.

Try this link for stepper motors, I have some of the 570 Oz/in motors on my plasma table.

Both of those sites I have already visited , they are very popular with the DIY CNC crowd. Unfortunately my lack of funds will not allow me to CNC my pantograph at this time.
