Hi all

I have a problem that you MTFs might solve for me.
I want a 47" snowblower for my X540, but as you can se i live in sweden. John deere in sweden dont have the blower for sale. Do you have any ideas, are there any deere dealer who are willing to ship a blower to Sweden?

Thanks

You can try these guys, they ship their equipment anywhere in the US but not sure about outside the country. There are probably lots of import/export regulations to deal with.

I would think your best bet would be to contact a general importer in Sweden and see if they can get you one.

Good Luck

IMHO the best is to work with your dealer or a dealer in a country near you, shipping from the U.S. will cost more that the blower itself.

Why would you need a snow blower in Sweden... it never snows there ... does it?

Oops.. wait a minute... I guess I was thinking of Aruba.

Hello in Sweden,

I'm in Norway and have the same problem. I badly want the 47 blower for my X540. The problem is that JD has not CE-marked the snow blowers, so therefore they don't sell them in Europe. I am about to solve the problem with a parallel import. If you are interested I could provide you with a name and number here in Norway. I will order mine in a week or two.

Thanks for answering that question. This problem has plagued European members and now Scandinavian members also.

I suggested to a gentleman in Germany that he contact the Bercomac company. They are Canadian, and may be more aggressive with getting their blowers approved internationally. www.bercomac.com

I took a look at the Bercomac, and it seems to be a nice snow blower too. I tried to contact a Bercomac agent here in Norway, but they did not bother answering me. I guess they are only interested in selling the ATV verson of their blower (the one with the engine attached on the blower). Appart from that I want to use the deck lift hydraulics of the x540 for lifting the blower as it would be the cleanest solution. I have mounted an electrical winch for lifting the Craftsman blower, but hydraulics would be better - I think.

Evald, when you get it remember to do some snowblowing in front of the Prime Ministers home so he see's how invaluable having a John Deere factory would be providing his countrymen a great snow removal option! We have got to get these international barriers down for quality equipment!!
