Default 1467 starter help

appears to be my lucky day or not! guy up the street has a 1467 with the oppossed twin Briggs, he just up and gave it to me... he was using it and teh starter died, he bought a new one and gave that too me as well, heres the DILEMA,, iv been looking at this for almost an hour how in the world does that starter come out? and secondly is this a keeper of a tractor? it seems larger then the usual ones.. any info would be greatly appreciated,

Bamboo, the 1467 is a XL series tractor. Kind of a replacement for the tube frames I think. I think there maybe a few owners here. Sonny's has a manual and implements pop on epay.

I have heard the starters are a bear to get off the opposed twin, very involved. I am not sure.

Yes, in some cases you have to lift the engine,which really isn't THAT big of a deal.
