I have to ask, where are you looking this info up????? I have an LTX1045, and the only model I get from the CC site is the 190-032 42". I will be doing tag sales this summer with the Wife. She gets her reading material for the winter that way as she can buy books for .25 cents or sometimes 5 for a buck. That way she don't feel bad about putting them in the re-cycle bin when she is done....... My thought was to try and use the same mount as the plow if possible that way, I can switch back, and forth if need be........ I know that probably some of the older models will fit mine as the PTO on mine is manual they went that route to save money keep the price down...... I like the manual, as I have had no problems with it at all, and just one less automatic thing to break down..... Because I don't have any children running around to worry about, I always mow with the reverse mode selected......

From Cub Cadets home page, select the Parts tab over on the top right
http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/s...1_1100505_Y_-1

From the above page, on the right enter your Product Model # (e.g. - LT1045) and hit Search. Another browser window should open up.
Select your model from the left side results found panel. In the details tab on the right, there should be folder tree - select Illustrated Parts Lists, then select the Attachment folder. That should then open yet another browser window listing all the available attachments in a tree structure on the left side. Double-click a folder for the desirable attachment - the tree structure should then expand to see a list of available attachment components files which then can viewed on the right hand side.

Good question - I see what you are taling about. I don't see an application chart and the numbers do not work in the shopping cart either. Maybe there is a Cub dealer out there that could explain.

I guess one of the problems with being old. The only blower I found in the attachments was 190-032-101 listed. Did I find the right one? That can't be the only model that will fit my tractor........

I don't know the differences between the LT1045 and rthe LTX1045, but the available attachment systems might be one of them, and that would explain why the LT1045 shows 3 different models of blower available while the LTX1045 only shows 1.

Redneck, do you have the electric PTO, or is it manual like mine??????? That might explain the difference. I know that the only diff. between the 1045, and 1046 is the size of the engine, and the 46 has the electric PTO.......

I have neither model. My cub is an old 1420. I thought that the discussion here was the difference between the LT1045 and the LTX1045. I hadn't seen anything about a 1046 in the discussion so far.

My reply was merely a guess, but from looking at the illustrations of the 3 different blower models in the cc parts web site, it looks like the blower model that the LT1045 shares with the LTX1045 uses one set of mounting holes to mount the blower to the frame, and the other 2 blower models use a different (but the same between them) set of mounting holes.

Guys,
I emailed Cub Cadet, asking them "what's the diff. betw. the three snow thrower models", their response was ...

There is not a whole lot of difference between them. The 673 morphed into the 823, which morphed into the modern 032. The 190-032-101 is the only Snow thrower available now and has a manual to show you how to attach it to your unit.

Now all I have to do is find a used 190-032 model ... anyone know anyone willing to sell one?

SOOOooooooooo, basically what you are saying that pretty much any model that has the right width will work. Then all I have to do is figure a way to make it work with the manual PTO.... What I would like to do is see if I can use the same mount as for the plow so when I only get an inch I can just switch it back, and forth....... I think I will have to figure a way to make it easy to remove the belt to put the plow on........ As it is on my plow all I have to do is move 2 spring loaded pins out of the way, and the plow comes right off..... All of maybe 2 minutes or less........ Thanks...... By the way if I didn't say that right please let me know as I will be looking in the spring, and if the price is right, I will jump on it.......
