My local Case shop wants to sell me half the axle at a cost of over $500 because I have a sloppy ball on my right tie rod end. They claim there is no tie rod ends available and that the whole assembly gets changed. Does anyone know of any aftermarket or cross adaptable tie rod end that I can use? It seems to me that Case is just gouging the little guy in this case and someone must have stepped up to fill in the gap but I can't find anything.
id check out ebay or craigslist, and try and find it.. I have a feeling im going to have a similar problem with my check valve since JD parts says they dont have that part..
also good luck getting an answer or even a reply around here
It isn't that people are mean or lazy! When you post a question about a certain machine and no replies are posted?, it simply means that your machine is an odd ball OR none of the readers have an answer that will help, Lol :sorry1:
This person says they have other 580 parts other than this maybe what your looking for is available also ----http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/grd/2895709796.html
good luck
When was a 580 and oddball machine. Check iron mart they may have a parts machine. The local case dealer here closed because komotsu and cat became cheaper and easy to get parts
I don't know much about case but look here http://www.the-co.com/Catalog/catalog.html download the catalog and found a listing for a 580b both outer tie rods $40 it may be a farm 580 vs construction but call them lots of stuff available not listed IH wanted $140 for 1 outer tierod they got me a complete assembly for $120
