Couple hours with a wire wheel and a little hand sanding after, two coats of primer, and two coats of black on the barrels so far. I'll squirt the insides white tomorrow.

Not much, as far as I know. The 18-H is all Gravely orange, no black trim. 18-H has a massive cast iron grill and different shaped hood. Overall, a much nicer looking (yes, I am biased) and more substantial looking tractor. Mechanically they are identical.

Thats what I was thinking since the fender mounted controls and basic machine seemed so much alike . Thanks for the info.

So today, I found this little gem and just had to drag it home! It was bought from a dealer as rebuilt a year ago and the owner blew his motor so......it has a new gearbox and turns freely. Skids and scrape plate are like new. He threw in 75 lb. wheel weights, tire chains, all the hardware, and extra weight for the back of the tractor. I stole it!...(I think).

Thank you Craigslist!!!!

So today was the day. I spent most of the long weekend finishing up a few things and finally got it back together this afternoon. There are still a few minor bugs to work out but it started right up and purred like a kitten! The front end still needs to be taken off to service it but hopefully everything works until Spring for that project. PSYCHED, I am!!!

Here she is after the first test run. I did mine and my neighbor's driveway in about 15 minutes!

Never did. We've had maybe a foot of snow over the last 3 days but today was only about 3-4" and heavy. I drove it into a snow/ice bank and the motor barely changed rpm's. This thing rocks! I need more seat time...
