My google searches kept sending me here. Seems like an active place. Informative.

I'm acquiring an old Murray riding mower as well as an "unknown" (per my brother-in-law) riding mower tonight. Eventually I'll be in the market for an old farm tractor (JD, M-F, A-C or similar) since I have horses and 80 acres to take care of. I will be going through the big tractor threads to learn about them so when it's time to buy I will a least a little bit informed.

I'm sure we can help you with the riders and the search for the big tractors too.

If you're able, take some pictures of the 'unknown' as we have some pretty talented folks that know their history of these machines

Thank you for the Welcome! If I get stumped, I will definitely snap some pics and post the numbers of the "unknown". I haven't seen it myself. Free is a good price though. Just briefly running through some posts there are a lot of helpful folks here. Of course, I'll post under the appropriate forum!
