Last Friday my dad and I went to look at some nos vintage tires on CL. We got there and he had a ton of vintage new tires, mostly 13" and 14" but I was looking around and seen two small tires on one of the stacks and looked at the size and they were vintage Goodyear 6x12 whitewall snow tires 4 ply with no dry rot, probably from 60's-70's never used. He wanted $20 for the 13s and $30 for the 14s, made him an offer on the 12s and got them both for $30. Also bought a couple 13" whitewalls for my tractor hauling trailer I gotta finish soon. My dad bought a couple sets of 14s for a couple old car projects we got going.
Painted up a couple 6x12 rims, still need to mount them up and clean the tires but they will probably go on my '67 Sub 10 for summer use. ![]() ![]() Let me know what you think of these.

Personally,I wouldnt run them.
Do a search on the internet about old tires and dry rot. |

Why not run them, they were never mounted, were in dry storage, and have no dry rot. Taken care of they should last a very long time.

Yep, the original cubs came with 6x12s. They wont be going any faster than 7 mph.
