Honda 5013 Repaint (Pics)

I just thought I'd post a few photos of my completed Honda 5013 repaint project for you guys. It doesn't have the gloss/shine that the pros get, but I'll have to admit that it did turn out pretty well considering that it is a rattle-can paint job. All of the red bodyparts were repainted and a few of the black parts. It's been a great way to get some hands-on experiance with painting and I hope to take it further someday and do a complete restore.

That's a unique machine! How old is it and what runs it? Nice work!

Not exactly sure what year it is, but as far as I know they were made from 1990-1997?. It has a Honda GX390 (13hp) engine.

Wayne, if you'll shoot me the frame serial number, I may be able to pull up some history on this tractor.



I may be wrong about this, but from what I can tell, the serial number should start with the letters FAHA-

Okay, here's what I found:

• Wholesaled from American Honda to Valley Turf & Equipment of Purcellville, VA on 1/18/1991.

• Retailed by Valley T&E to "Joe C." of Chantilly, VA on 4/25/1992

• No outstanding recalls or product updates required for this model.

Still registered to Joe, but I can update that if you'll send me a PM with your name and address.
