Default JD lt133 Transaxle

I have a jd lt133 that seems to skip when pulling in 2nd gear. I am thinking the transaxle may have some broken teeth inside. I would like to know what options i have on replacing the transaxle when it breaks. I would like to put something beefier in so i can safely use a blade or pull things like a harrow. I have good fab skills and a welder.

So what are my transaxle options?

As a fellow LT133 owner I've never seen or heard of a beefier replacement transaxle for these machines, I honestly don't think Deere makes a 'tougher' 5 speed transaxle as the L, LA, & D series all had/have pretty much the manual transaxle as far as quality goes.
